Two parasitoids of Plutella xylostella were found in a cabbage field in the lower Rio Grande Valley, Texas, in 1990. They were the ichneumonid Diadegma insularis and the braconid Microplitis plutellae. These species were found to parasitize 18.6% out of 623 pupae sampled in one field. none
