pdf hard copy The old name of the tribe is preserved for the genera Colastes Hal., Xenarcha Foerst, and Colastinus crustatus gen. et. sp. nov.; the diagnostic features of this tribe are discussed. For all other genera of the former tribe Exothecini s. l., a name Rhysipolini new tribe is proposed. The genus Rhyssalus is placed, after Capek (1970), with the doryctins rather than with the exothecins. A description is given for Colastinus crustatus in which the I-III abdominal tergites form a carapace. Pseudophanomeris subgen. nov. is described in the genus Colastes, with 3 new species: C. (P.) unicolor, C. (P.) pilosus and C. (P.) insularis in which the I-V abdominal tergites are fully wrinkle-sculptured.
