Studies were carried out in a luceme field in Spain in 1987 to determine the parasitoids of Spodoptera littoralis and S. iwgua. The braconid Meteorus pulchricornis and the ichneumonid Hyposoter didymator were common parasitoids of both noctuids. The braconid Homolobus truncatoides was only found on larva of S. littoralis and the tachinid Gonia bimaculata was only found on larva of S. exigua. The associations of the braconid with S. littoralis and of the tachinid with S. exigua are new. This is the fu-st report of Homolobus truncatoides and Hyposoter didymator in Spain. Meteorus pulchricornis was the most common parasitoid, affecting 69.4 and 66.8 of larva of S. littoralis and S. exigua, resp. none
