none This paper deals with 6 species of parasitoids emerged from Zeuzera pyrina L. (Lep. Cossidae) larvae collected in an one-hectare wide apple-orchard located in the surroundings of Imola, some kilometres far from Bologna, Italy. This orchard might have been uncultivated for 5-6 years. More than 3,000 larvae were collected. The parasitoids which emerged from the larvae were: a) Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae: Neoxorides nitens (Grav.) and Dolicomitus messor (Grav.) (Pimplinae); Diadegma terebrans (Panz.) (Campopleginae), Pristomerus vulnerator (Panz.) (Cremastinae); Braconidae: Dolichogenidea laevigata (Ratz.) (Microgasterinae), Helcon sp. (Helconinae), Chalcididae: Perilampus tristis Mayr (Perilampidae) hyperparasite of Lepidoptera antagonists. b) Diptera: Megaselia praecusta (Schmith) (Phoridae); Odinia meijerei Collin (Odiniidae). Forty-three larvae were also infected by the entomopathogenous fungus Beauveria bassiana (Balsamo) Vuill. and Hirsutella thompsonii Fisher var. synnematosa.
