comment:
Myonia pyraloides Walker, 1854 is a pest of economical importance in Eucalyptus cloeziana reforestations. Immature stages were collected in two distinct phases of the crop infestation cycle. Eggs and larvae of different developmental stages did not present parasitism. Pupae were explored by a complex of five parasitoid species which oviposit and complete their immature phase in the pupa stage of the host. More than 75% of the host pupae were killed by Brachymeria sp. 1. B. (Pseudobrachymeria) conica, Spilochalcis sp. (Hym: Chalcididae), Nesolyx sp. (Hym: Elophidae) and an unidentified Inchneumonidae (Hym). The total parasitism levels was constant, although differences in the success of each species were observed between the two samples. none
