The braconids were determined as important parasitoids of insect carriers of oak trachemycoses. Dendrosoter protuberans Nees was found as the most constant parasitoid of oak bark beetle Scolytus intricatus Ratz., while Ecphylus silesiacus Ratz. and Spathius erythrocephalus Wesm. were of lesser importance. They are all solitary ectoparasitioids of S. intricatus larvae. The buprestid Aquilus sulcicollis Lac. was parasitized by Polystenus rugosus Foerst. and Chrysobothris affinis F. by Atanycolus flaviceps Ivan. - both braconid species belonged to the most abundant parasitoids of buprestids and were solitary ectoparasitoids of their larvae. Doryctes mutillator Thunb. was the most important ectoparasitoid of larvae of the cerambycid Phymatodes testaceus L. missing
