The author reports data on some groups of invertebrates conducted during 7 year exploration of the territory of western and southwestern Bohemia. Total of 128 cellars and similar underground shelters were visited in this period. Only several data were published from this region in previous years (DVORAK 1998, 1999 et 2000). In total, 92 species of invertebrates are discussed in this paper - 33 mollusc species (Mollusca), 9 spider species (Araneae), 6 isopod species (Isopoda), 2 myriapod species (Chilopoda), 1 ichneumon fly species (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae), 33 beetle species (Coleoptera), and 8 butterfly and moth species (Lepidoptera). All species mentioned in this paper were included into one of four categories. (1) The species living in cellars (=troglophilous), which are common in cellars and reproducted here regularly. (2) The species hibernating in cellars, which are not tied on cellars by their life cycle. These species penetrate into cellars only for hibernation purpose and they occur here predominantly between September and April. (3) The species of surrounding landscape, which are common in cellars. In majority, this is the case of common ruderal, synanthropic or woodland species, which are commonly distributed in surrounding of individual cellars. They can penetrate into these shelters by active or passive way, they are able to stay and indeed reproduce here. (4) The species penetrating accidentaly into cellars, which do not live there. Habitat; Man made habitat; Land zones; Palaearctic region; Eurasia; Europe Invertebrata; Urban habitat; House cellars; Records; Czech Republic; Bohemian Forest & West Bohemia; Records from cellars, resident & accidental species none2002
