The former subgenus Cryptonastes Foerster is split into 3 independent subgenera: CRYPTOGNATHOPIUS subgen. nov., JUCUNDOPUS subgen. nov., and Cryptonastes Foerster. New keys for identification of the species of the Palearctic region are proposed. Opius (Jucundopius) jucundicola and O. (Tolbia) ranunculicola, both reared from Agromyzid flies in Japan, are described as new. Morphological details are figured.
