none Host parasitoid-pathogen interactions among P. rapae (L.), A. glomeratus (L.), and the granulosis virus (GV) of P. rapae were studied using laboratory and field populations. Survival of A. glomeratus in GV-infected P. rapae depended on the time between oviposition by the parasitoid in a larva of P. rapae and ingestion of GV by the larva: parasitoids did not survive in host larvae exposed to GV on or before 4 days after oviposition at 25 degree C. Survival of A. glomeratus was less in P. rapae in which the GV disease was severe than in lightly infected larvae.
