none The tortricid Archips rosanus attacks mainly the leaves or citrus in the area studied in the Peloponessus, southern Greece. Larval and pupal parasites found on citrus were reared. The research revealed the existence of four parasitoids. Three of them, all chalcidoids, emerged from the pupa in late May and June. The larger two are members of the Chalcididae, Brachymeria tibialis and Brachymeria rugulosa, and the smaller a member of the Torymidae, Monodontomerus aereus. The fourth, is a larval parasitoid of the family Braconidae namely Hypomicrogaster semele and emerged in the second half of May. This is the first record of both H. semele and B. rugulosa as parasitoids of Archips rosanus. H. semele is an active parasitoid which could contribute to a more effective natural biological control of A. rosanus if some aspects of its biology including alternative hosts were known.
