The larval stage lasted 17.8, 12.6 and 9.4 days, resp., and the pupal stage lasted 8.2, 6.3 and 4.5 days, resp. 'Me total development periods from egg to adult were 29.7, 21.2 and 15.5 days, resp. The longevity of adult males was 28.8, 17.4 and 9.5 days, resp., whilst that of females was 34.8, 20.2 and 15.4 days, resp. The parasite's sex ratio was 1 male to 1.4 females, a larger proportion of females than in the wild.
