comment:
In a survey of the distribution, injuriousness and natural enemies of Pieris brassicae on cruciferous crops in Pakistan, the pierid was widespread and was the most serious pest of these vegetables in the Sialkot area. Apanteles glomeratus [Cotesia glomerata], Diadegma pierisae and Pteromalus puparum were the commonest parasitoids in most areas. Because they were absent or infrequent in the Sialkot area, D. pierisae and P. puparum were released in a cauliflower field in February, and subsequently caused up to 40 and 100% parasitism, resp. none
