comment:
none Diapausing larvae of teak skeletonizer, Pyrausta machaeralis Walker (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) was noticed from last week of October to second week of February with peak incidence during last week of November and again in third week of December with a reduction in temperature and relative humidity. A larval endoparasite, Cremnops atricornis Smith, which parasitized the diapausing P. machaeralis larvae during November and December underwent larval diapause within the host. The incidence and termination of diapause of the parasite synchronized with that of the host.
