none The authors present a new model of cage for the production of the Hymenoptera braconid Opius concolor Szepl. This model was made in acrylic glass of 0.5 cm of thickness, having capacity to received about 9000 pupae of Ceratitis capitata specimen used as host for the braconid referred. The highest degree of parasitism was obtained on the 5th day +- 1 day having been verified an average of 94% of parasited larvae.
