Hoplismenus perarduus and Platylabus bobadillai are described after samples from the Andean Puna of northern Chile. The Hoplismenus is characterized by its weak tyloides, grossly and densely dotted mesoscutum, and thyridia located close to the base of the second gastric tergite. The Platylabus may be recognized by its shiny and sparsely dotted mesoscutum, depressed male gaster and strong thyridia, a little wider than the space between them.
