The strong activity of the major part of the coccinellids that have been recorded occurs mostly during the second half of May and lasts until the end of July. Some species are somewhat precocious in so far their activity begins during the second half of April, it is the case of Coccinella algirica Kovar, Pullus subvillosus Goeze, Clitostethus arcuatus (Rossi), Chilocorus bipunctatus (L.) and sometimes Rodolia cardinalis (Mulsant). Regarding the others, activity peak occurs later, during the month of June, it is the case of Scymnus, Nephus and of species such as Platynaspis lieteorubra Goeze and Hyperaspis algirica Cr. In aytumn, some species like C. bipunctatus, Nephus peyerimhoffi Sicard, C. arcuatus and Stethorus punctillum Weise, develop a las generation with a less intensity. The natural enemies, that have been usually observed, showed us a weak rate of parasitism. Only two parasites have been recorded, Perilitus coccinellae (Braconidae) on Hippodamia (Ad.) nariegata Goeze and an ichnemonid on C. algirica.
