Integrated pest management of Chilo partellus, Busseola fusca, Eldana,,raccharina and Sesamia calamistis on sorghum in Kenya is discussed. Integrated control comprised cultural methods, pest resistance, biological control and behavioural manipulation with pheromones. Intercropping with host and nonhost varieties and with other crops has been successful. Other cultural methods include adjustment of planting time and disposal of crop residues. Two resistant sorghum cultivars have also been identified. The parasitoids Trichogramma spp., Apanteles sp., Dentichasmias busseolae and Pediobius furvae were identified in the field, and Trichogramma spp. had potential as a control agent. none
