none Anthonomus rubi; HYMENOPTERAN-PARASITES; Bracon, Spilomalus & Triaspis; Host records, prevalence & population regulation roles; PLANT-HOSTS; Rubus (bramble & raspberry); Hymenopteran parasite records & prevalence; POPULATION-REGULATION; Hymenopteran parasitoid roles; ITALY-; Piedmont; Hymenopteran parasite records, prevalence & role in regulation Bracon immutator; Spilomalus quadrinota; Triaspis aciculatus; COLEOPTERAN-HOSTS; Anthonomus rubi; Host record; ITALY-; Piedmont; Coleopteran host record, prevalence & role in population regulation Investigations on natural enemies of Anthonomus rubi Herbst were carried out on raspberry (Rubus idaeus L.) both of uniferous and biferous cv and on wild and cultivated bramble (Rubus spp.) in Piedmontese (Italy) localities. No oophagous parasitoid was found. From larvae of A. rubi, 3 species of Hymenoptera emerged: the braconids Triaspis aciculatus (Ratz.) and Bracon immutator Nees and the pteromalid Spilomalus quadrinota (Walk.). T. aciculatus was the main limiter of this curculionid, with parasitization rates varying from 2.5 to 68.8, according to different situations. Parasitization rates of the other two species were ranging from 1.4 to 15.3 for B. immutator and from 1.0 and 28.0 for S. quadrinota. This is the first report of T. aciculatus and S. quadrinota as limiters of A. rubi.
