Rearing technique of Rhaconotus signipennis (Walker), an ectoparasitoid of Acigona steniella (Hampson), larvae have been described. Female parasitoid laid eggs in groups of 3-20 after paralysing the host larva. The pre-oviposition, incubation, larval and purpal periods of the parasitoid were 4, 2, 6.4 +- 0.5 and 14.4 +- 0.5 days, respectively. The life cycle was completed in 22.8 +- 0.8 days. The longevity of males was 11.6 +- 1.7 days and that of females 11.9 +- 1.6 days. Ratio of males to females was 1:10. none
