comment:
New parasites of Misogada unicolor (Packard), a defoliator of sycamore (Platanus occidentalis L.) growing in bottomland plantations of the Mississippi Delta, include Casinaria limenitidis (Howard) (Ichneumonidae), and Eulophus basalis Say (Eulophidae). C. limenitidis is solitary, spinning its cocoon beside the host. E. basalis is a gregarious internal feeder whose larvae emerge from the last-instar host and quickly pupate. Pediobius crassicornis (Thomson) (Eulophidae) was hyperparasitic on E. basalis pupae. Seasonal occurrence and other biological notes are discussed. none
