comment:
none India-; Laboratory and field studies were conducted with Allorhogas pyralophagus Marsh, an exotic hymenopterous parasite, against stalk borer, Chilo auricilius Ddgn. Technique for mass rearing of the parasite has been perfected using C. auricilius and C. partellus larvae as laboratory hosts. Field releases of 6,231 adults of A. prayalophagus , in two crop seasons at the Institute farm resulted in the recovery of the parasite from "released areas".
