none When the ovipositors of O. concolor females pierced the host without laying eggs, a ring-like structure was formed. A dark brown circle appeared around the puparium, usually between the postcephalic fourth and fifth segments. Ring-structure damage due to O. concolor was identified as one of the major contributing factors to mortality of the host species. From the dissected samples, a relatively large percentage of ring-structure damage was revealed (20.86%).
