none. The diapause of Exetastes cinctipes Retz. prepupae in cocoons was broken by chilling at 4 degree C and subsequent storage at 22 degree C. The proportion of individuals with broken diapause depended on the conditions of embryonic and larval development of the ichneumonid and on the time of the cold storage of diapausing prepupae. The time from the onset of the storage at 22 degree C to emergence of adults was inversely proportional to the time of storage of diapausing prepupae.
