NOTES ON TAXONOMY
Perkins (1962) designated Tryphon segmentarius Fabricius,1787 sensu Gravenhorst,1829 (p.209) as the type species of Isodiaeta Förster,1868. Therefore, Perkins is the author of this deliberate misidentification (ICZN Article 11(i)). (Perkins, 1962)
